A Coda to the Totality of Blackness Trilogy

If I close my eyes
And let myself go
I can feel
My single body
Connecting
With the resonance
Of everything,

So many moments
So many days
Spent reaching for
sublime communion.

My resonance
Melting
With all resonance
Everywhere.
I’m free
From the binds
That separates me
From everything.

But what if
I am already there?
Always at one
with totality?
My perception
Of separation
also seems real…

What if I am one and all
Infinitely?
Can this be so?
Or is this reverie?

Can all states exist
Simultaneously?
Can I perceive this being?
Or is this merely fantasy?

My imagination completes me.
My imagination is real.
It feeds my inspirations.
It fulfills my aspirations.

Yet how do I move
How do we move
Beyond our sense
Of space and time?

There is no perfect union.
There is no total separation.
These states are continuities.
These states are our constructions.

If we exist in infinite continuities
Simultaneously
Then where are we?
What are we?
And where do we go from here?
Is there nowhere to go from here?

Is there just here?
Is there just now?
These are constructions too
How can we access
All space and time
So far from our
Perception’s grasp

Yet there must be somewhere to go
From the here of our now.
This now is not acceptable.
We must have change.
The question remains, still,
What is to be done?
And how do we get,
How do we get
To where we want to be?

We live in separation
Constructed and perceived
Yet we are all connected.

Our incapacity to perceive this
Imperils our existence,
Holds us back
From higher states
Of consciousness.

Yet even these connections
Are constructions.
This spectral totality
Is also construction,
A state we strive to access
In our everyday entanglement.

We long to be free
From the limitations of
Our seemingly finite
Humanity.
Yet all we seem to possess
Is our mundane experience.

And the question still remains
What is to be done?
And how do we get,
How do we get,
To where we want to be?

How do we thrive
In a spectral oneness
That incorporates
Separation
Simultaneously?
How do we
Discover this
Day by day?

Can our bodies
Ever access
This elusive state?
Or does it only
Exist
In our dreams?
And in the science
Inspired
By our
Imagination?
